Subject: Resolution Designating July 26, 2014 as "Oval Race Track Day" in Pennsylvania
 
In the near future, I plan to introduce legislation designating July 26, 2014, as “Oval Race Track Day” in Pennsylvania.

Auto racing has been an exciting sporting and entertaining event in over a century in Pennsylvania and can be traced back to 1904. Today Pennsylvania is home to the second oldest speedway in continuous use in the nation. Oval track racing includes various classes and circuits of automobile racing which contribute valuable assets to local economies.
