Subject: Blood Alcohol Content Lowered to .08 for Hunting(Former HB 860)
 
In the near future I will re-introduce legislation that will lower the blood alcohol content (BAC) for hunting under the influence from its current level of .10 to .08. Former House Bill 860 of 2011-2012 passed the House on May 3, 2011 by a vote of 197-0.

Recently, similar legislation regarding boating under the influence passed into law.

Of the 17 states that use BAC to determine impairment, 11 other states have made the switch to .08.

My legislation will lower the BAC limit for Title 34(Game) to what it now is in Title 75(Transportation) and Title 30 (Fish).
