Subject: Co-Sponsorship: Permitting Massage Therapists to Work in Cosmetology Salons
 
In the near future I plan to introduce legislation that will amend the Cosmetology Law to permit Massage Therapists to work in the cosmetology salons.

The spa atmosphere has become more popular; however, the expansion of services that may be provided in one setting is limited in our state due to restrictions that prohibit a Cosmetologist and a Massage Therapists to work in the salon together.

My legislation will remove this barrier and allow these businesses in our state to expand their services.
