Subject: Veterans' Disability Payments Exemptions under Section 1901 of the Vehicle Code
 
Please join me in sponsoring legislation, previously introduced as Senate Bill 742.  My legislation this session will seek to remove veterans’ disability payments from income eligibility under Section 1901 of the Vehicle Code (Exemption of persons, entities and vehicles from fees).  This bill will no longer reflect updates regarding the elimination of veterans’ disability benefits from income eligibility under both the Property Tax and Rent Rebate Program and PACE/PACENET as they passed respectively via Act 117 of 2016 and Act 82 of 2020. 
 
I hope you will support this legislation. Co-sponsors included Senators Santarsiero, J. Ward, Fontana, Baker, Tartaglione, Hutchinson, Street, Collett, Brewster, Schwank, Brooks, K. Ward, Kane, Aument, Comitta, Haywood, Boscola, Cappelletti, Flynn and Dillon during the previous session.
