Subject: | Outdoor Seating Provisions |
In the near future, we plan to introduce legislation to make permanent the outdoor COVID-19 dining provisions that are set to expire at the end of this year. By way of background, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) provided flexibility in response to the pandemic. Furthermore, the General Assembly codified changes in outdoor dining to provide our licensee community with flexibility and to encourage safety. With these provisions set to expire we believe making these changes permanent will allow our licensed community to continue recovering from the pandemic, as well as providing our constituents with a greater level of safety and options in their dining preferences.
