Subject: Oversight for Pennsylvania's Drug Abuse Treatment Providers
 
In the near future, I will be introducing legislation that would allow the Commonwealth to develop a regimen of fines to assist in bringing drug abuse treatment providers into compliance consistent with the PA Auditor General’s 2017 recommendations.

Currently, the Pennsylvania State Dept of Drug and Alcohol Programs has oversight of PA licensed drug abuse treatment centers, with no ability to fine providers even for repeat violations.

Please join me in cosponsoring this legislation.
