Subject: Vote Recount
 
As we are extremely disappointed that the PA Supreme Court intruded into the 2020 General Election, and went beyond what state law provides, we will be introducing legislation requiring the Pennsylvania Department of State to implement a vote recount in any counties where state law was broken, regardless of the Department of State’s instructions, as well as in any precinct where questionable actions were demonstrated.  Recount expenses will be paid through the Department of State.  Pennsylvanians need to feel secure about elections, and it is the job of legislators to create these laws, not the courts, and not the Department of State Secretary.  We need to preserve the integrity of our elections.  We hope you will join us in cosponsoring this important legislation.
