Subject: Liquor Code Legislation
 
This legislation will amend the Liquor Code to add a nonprofit organization whose purpose is primary and secondary education located in a county of the sixth class to the list of eligible entities entitled to apply for a Special Occasion Permit. Special Occasion Permits may be issued to an eligible entity for the purpose of fundraising. Currently, such fundraisers must take place by having the organization partner with an eligible organization to apply for the permit. This legislation will simplify that process.
