An Act amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, creating the Pennsylvania Commission on Sentencing, establishing guidelines for criminal sentencing to be used by trial courts, and further providing for sentencing alternatives, mandatory sentences for certain second and subsequent offenses, appellate review of sentence and changing provisions relating to commission membership.
