Subject: Ensuring Election Machines are made with American Equipment
 
In the near future, I will be introducing legislation to require new voting machines to be manufactured in the United States and sold by a vendor with a primary place of business within the United States.

Major voting machine vendors often utilize components originating from adversarial nations such as China. This presents a significant national security concern as these components can be difficult to vet and monitor.

My bill will ensure that any new voting machine approved for use in an election in Pennsylvania must be entirely manufactured in the United States by a vendor who is headquartered within the United States.
