Subject: Prescription Drugs- Notification Requirements
 
In the very near future, I will be re-introducing legislation from last session (SB 535), specifically targeting the growing problem of prescription drug diversion.

This legislation requires the immediate notification of local law enforcement and the Attorney General’s Bureau of Narcotics Investigation and Drug Control by any nursing home, assisted living facility, pharmacy or hospital that has had a controlled substance stolen from their facility.
