Subject: Teacher Appreciation Week
 
In the near future, I will be introducing legislation that will recognize May 6 through 10, 2024 as “Teacher Appreciation Week” in Pennsylvania. Teachers are an invaluable resource for both students and our Commonwealth. They are tasked with ensuring that the students of this Commonwealth receive a quality child-first, family focused education. Teachers are not only dedicated to ensuring that students have academic success, but they also work to ensure that students will have success post-graduation and become productive members of society.

Please consider co-sponsoring this important piece of legislation to recognize the hard work of our Commonwealth teachers.
