Subject: Resolution Supporting the Governor of Texas
 
In the near future, I plan to introduce a resolution supporting the Governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, who has expressed deep concern regarding the federal government's failure to enforce immigration laws and protect the states, leading to record levels of illegal immigration.
 
The lawless border policies under President Biden's Administration have resulted in over 6 million illegal immigrants crossing the southern border in just three years, causing unprecedented harm to the people across the United States. My resolution will condemn these actions and recognize Texas’ constitutional authority to defend its border.
 
I respectfully ask that you join me in cosponsoring this important resolution.
