Subject: Protection from Abuse of Power Act
 
During the pandemic, our government restricted some of the most basic freedoms that we cherish as Americans.

In the near future, I intend to reintroduce House Bill 1225 that will prohibit government restrictions on our freedom of worship and prohibit restrictions on businesses providing their services to the public. My legislation will also make it clear that government cannot issue stay at home orders or impose a curfew based on public health concerns.

My legislation will take the important step of ensuring that citizens cannot be discriminated against by their government or businesses operating within the state based on whether or not they have been vaccinated.
