Subject: Resolution: Designating the Month of October 2020 as “Careers in Construction Month” in Pennsylvania
 
In the near future, I plan on introducing a resolution to recognize the month of October 2020 as “Careers in Construction Month” in Pennsylvania.

The construction industry is one of our country’s largest industries, full of meaningful and family-sustaining employment opportunities. Unfortunately, there has been chronic labor shortages and even misconceptions of careers in construction. Recognizing October 2020 as “Careers in Construction Month” in Pennsylvania is a great way to honor construction trades professionals and shine a light on an industry full of opportunity.
