Subject: | Legislation Increasing the Fine for Failure to Keep Right |
In the near future, I plan to introduce legislation that amends Title 75 (Vehicles) to increase the fine for failure to keep right while driving on a limited access highway from $25 to $100. As many of you are aware, motorists traveling slowly in the left-hand lane of a limited access highway present both a frustration and danger to other motorists on the highway. Vehicles traveling slowly in the left-hand lane for an extended period can cause tailgating or force vehicles to pass in the right-hand lane, a more dangerous option. Please join me in sponsoring this important legislation. |
