Subject: Co-Sponsorship - Increase Registered Gross Weight Limit
 
I was contacted by a constituent in my district who was upset because he was not able to place a severely disabled veteran plate on his dually pick-up because they have a registered gross weight over the current limit of 10,000 pounds.

He requested that I introduce legislation, House Bill 156 from last Session, to increase the current weight restriction. Therefore, I plan to introduce legislation that would amend Title 75, Section 1, Section 1342 (a), ( c) and (d) to increase the registered gross weight limit from the current 10,000 pounds limit to 14,000 pounds.
