Subject: Resolution - Juvenile Detention Centers Week
 
In the near future I will be introducing a Resolution to designate the week of October 20 through 24, 2014, as “Juvenile Detention Centers Week” in Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania’s Juvenile Detention Centers, adhering to the Balanced and Restorative Justice model, contribute to public safety by providing a stable environment for at risk youth both pre-adjudicated and adjudicated, providing education, programming and ensuring sufficient opportunities for growth and development of Pennsylvania’s youth.
