Subject: Resolution - Designating May as 'National Water Safety Month' in Pennsylvania
 
In the near future, I plan to introduce a resolution designating May 2014 as 'National Water Safety Month' in Pennsylvania.

The World Waterpark Association, the National Recreation and Parks Association and the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals, representing water parks, aquatic facilities and pool and spa dealers, have combined resources in an effort to educate Americans to be 'water aware' during 'National Water Safety Month' in May.

This is an opportunity for these organizations to promote water safety by providing education on preventing recreational water-related injuries and death.

Please consider co-sponsoring this piece of legislation.
