Subject: Resolution Honoring Plum Borough as 6th Safest City in U. S.
 
In the next few days, Representative Joe Markosek and I will introduce legislation honoring Plum Borough on being recognized as the 6th Safest City in the United States.

NeighborhoodScout has ranked United States cities with 25,000 or more residents on the basis of reported crimes and population to compile its list of the Top 100 Safest Cities in the United States. According to location-based data and risk analysis information used by NeighborhoodScout, Plum Borough is considered safer than 79% of cities nationwide.

When there is so much crime reported today, it is refreshing to acknowledge those communities where crimes are kept at bay. This legislation will honor borough officials, law enforcement officers and residents for their continued efforts to enrich the quality of life in their community.

Please join us in co-sponsoring this resolution to honor and congratulate Plum Borough on being recognized as the 6th Safest City in the United States.
