Subject: "Put the Brakes on Fatalities Day in Pennsylvania" Resolution - October 10, 2013
 
In the near future, at the request of my constituent, I will be introducing a resolution declaring October 10, 2013 as “Put The Brakes On Fatalities Day” in Pennsylvania. The purpose of this resolution is to focus public awareness on driver behavior, vehicle safety, and roadway improvement in an effort to reduce the number of traffic fatalities that occur on U.S. highways every year by focusing media attention on this national problem. More information on this nationwide effort can be found at the website www.brakesonfatalities.org.
