We wish to make you all aware of a resolution that we plan to introduce in the next few days regarding the tragic building collapse on June 5 in Philadelphia that killed six and injured another 13 people. We ask you to join us in co-sponsoring and supporting this condolence resolution. First, the resolution will specifically honor the lives and memory of those who tragically died during the building collapse at 22nd and Market Streets in Philadelphia and will express condolences to their families and concern for those injured in the incident. The resolution also will thank all emergency workers, first responders, volunteers and any others who helped or assisted at the scene for their outstanding service and efforts at the site. Further, the resolution will express that any relevant information be shared and reported to the appropriate committees in the House so that the House can take any appropriate action on its part to prevent similar tragedies from occurring in the future. Please contact Mason Lane in Rep. Sims’ office at (717) 787-5741 or mlane@pahouse.net if you have any questions or need more information regarding this resolution. Thank you. |
