Subject: | Special License Plates for Members of the 28th Infantry Division |
As one of the oldest and most decorated divisions in U.S. Army history, the 28th Infantry Division is held in the highest regard. Tracing its lineage back to 1747 with a militia organized by Benjamin Franklin, the 28th Infantry Division has been a critical component of Pennsylvanian history. Fighting in multiple wars, the 28th Infantry Division has cemented itself as one of the most respected divisions in American history. In an effort to honor the legacy of this remarkable division, I will be introducing legislation to create special license plates for current members and veterans of the 28th Infantry Division. Upon receipt of $20, as well as the annual registration fee, current members and veterans will receive a special license plate commemorating the noble history of the 28th Infantry Division. Please join me in co-sponsoring this effort to honor the heroes of our nation and to express our gratitude for their sacrifice and service. |
