Subject: Co-sponsorship Memo for 900 AM WURD
 

In the near future, I plan to introduce a resolution recognizing and honoring the 10th anniversary of 900 AM WURD Radio.

As the only African-American owned and operated talk radio station in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, WURD has proactively and innovatively served as the “Voice of the Community” missioned to educating, uplifting and inspiring the hearts and souls of listeners. WURD’s commitment to serve as a community connector for news and resources has earned the station and its broadcasters national and global recognition.

Please join me in recognizing and honoring 900 AM WURD Radio for becoming a vital gathering place for diverse voices and successfully serving as a bridge between our urban markets, leaders, entrepreneurs, nonprofits and corporations.
