An Act providing for the assumption by the Department of Transportation of the operation, maintenance, construction and reconstruction functions of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission; providing for transfer to the Department of Transportation and the Governor of land, buildings, personal property and employees of the commission; providing for the abolition of the commission and the office of Turnpike Commissioner; providing for the continued servicing of commission bonds; establishing the Toll Road Fund; and making repeals.
