An Act amending the act of June 13, 1967 (P. L. 31, No. 21), known as the "Public Welfare Code," establishing mandatory school attendance or the acquisition of a high school equivalent diploma as a condition to receiving aid for dependent children; granting the Department of Welfare the power to enforce these requirements; providing the Department of Education with authority to set standards; and formulating a reporting process for school districts.
