Subject: Career and Technical Education Month
 
I will soon introduce a resolution recognizing the month of February 2018 as “Career and Technical Education Month” in Pennsylvania.

This year’s theme, “Careers and College: Hands on Education,” represents Pennsylvania’s area career and technical schools, comprehensive high schools and post-secondary institutions delivering programs which meet national skill standards and offer recognized credentials, thereby providing their students with the skills needed to remain competitive in an ever-changing global economy.

I hope you will join me in sponsoring this resolution.
