Subject: | Honoring the Careers of Jason Kelce and Fletcher Cox |
In early March 2024, within a week of each other, two Philadelphia legends announced their retirement from the Philadelphia Eagles. These men, Jason Kelce and Fletcher Cox, spent their entire careers in Philadelphia, contributing not just to their team’s success, but to the city’s as well. The former Eagles have given their time off the field to their community and have raised and donated millions of dollars to causes that support underserved students, those with autism, and our police. While Jason and Fletcher may be ending their respective thirteen and twelve years in football, their impact on Philadelphia will be felt for many years to come. Between their contributions to the Eagles’ Super Bowl LII victory and those in need, the careers and accomplishments of Jason Kelce and Fletcher Cox are more than worthy of celebration. As such, I am planning to introduce a resolution honoring the careers of both Jason Kelce and Fletcher Cox. Both men are certifiable Philadelphia superstars and inspirations to all Pennsylvanians. Please join me in co-sponsoring this resolution to honor all that they have done, and continue to do, for Pennsylvania. |
