Subject: Personal Care and Assisted Living Week - September 10-16
 
In the near future, I will be introducing a resolution to recognize September 10 through September 16, 2023, as “Personal Care and Assisted Living Week” in Pennsylvania.

With Pennsylvania having one of the highest and fastest growing aging populations in the country, it is important that we recognize the critical role of assisted living in caring for our seniors.

It is important that we acknowledge the contributions of personal care and assisted living communities and employees in providing care to our seniors as well as help educate the public about this distinctive aspect of long-term care.

Please join me in co-sponsoring this meaningful resolution.
