MEMORANDUM

Posted: March 30, 2017 11:15 AM
From: Representative Donna Bullock
To: All House members
Subject: Co-Sponsorship: Resolution that recognizes April 27, 2017 as “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day” in Pennsylvania

In the near future, I plan to introduce a Resolution that recognizes April 27, 2017 as “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day” in Pennsylvania.

As you know, Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day is a unique educational experience for the benefit of boys and girls between 8 and 18 years of age. More than 40 million children, young adults, parents, and mentors are participating in the 2017 Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day with events at more than 3 million workplaces in the United States and abroad.

The Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Foundation is a non-profit organization that promotes awareness of children’s issues through work-based learning activities. The participants also explore work-life integration, learn new skills and goal setting principles.

It is for these reasons and more that I am offering this Resolution. If you have any questions regarding this Resolution, please contact my Research Analyst -- Takesha Latham at (717) 705-1943 or via email at tlatham@pahouse.net.

Introduced as HR207
