Subject: National Speech and Debate Education Day - March 3, 2017
 
In the near future, I will introduce a resolution declaring March 3, 2017 as “National Speech and Debate
Education Day” in Pennsylvania.
The purpose of this resolution is to celebrate the positive impact that instruction in speech and debate
has on students, including the development of communication, critical thinking, creativity, and
collaboration skills.
Please join me in sponsoring this resolution to recognize the many benefits of speech and debate.
