Subject: Condolence Resolution for Edward Phillip Guy- former Mayor of Ridley Park
 
In the near future, I plan to introduce a Condolence Resolution honoring Edward Phillip Guy, former Mayor of Ridley Park and a lifelong devoted resident of Ridley Park . He joined the Philadelphia School District in 1967 as an elementary school teacher, working at several schools throughout the district for 35 years. Ed was elected Mayor of Ridley Park and served in office from 1990 to 1994. He previously served on the Ridley Park Planning Commission, the Ridley Park Athletic Club as Baseball Commissioner and the Ridley Park Swim Club Board. He was a mentor to all who knew him and has served as a role model in his community.
