Subject: Resolution Recognizing "National Chemistry Week"
 
In the near future I will be introducing a resolution recognizing the week of October 16 through 22, 2016 as “National Chemistry Week” in Pennsylvania.

The American Chemical Society coordinates National Chemistry is an annual event designed to raise awareness of the importance of chemistry. This event focuses on reaching the public particularly all school children by providing them positive messages about chemistry.

This year marks the 29th anniversary of National Chemistry Week. The evolving science of chemistry is essential to this Commonwealth’s industry and the well-being of all Pennsylvanians.

Please join me in co-sponsoring this resolution to recognize “National Chemistry Week”
