Subject: Amendment to Liquor Code, Providing for Wine Auction Permits
 
In the near future I will be introducing language that will amend the Liquor Code, Section 408.12. Wine Auction Permits.

My language will amend the Liquor Code to allow any nationally recognized, community-based health organization committed to ending Type 1 Diabetes to obtain a Wine Auction Permit. My bill will simply add this organization to those organizations that qualify for the permit.

The Wine Auction Permit will allow the holder to auction wine for fundraising purposes only. The fee for the license will be $30 per day, good for a period of not more than four (4) consecutive or nonconsecutive days per calendar year.
