Subject: | 2024 Union Apprenticeship Week in PA |
There is no middle class in America without unions, and for Pennsylvanian skilled trades that all starts with a union apprenticeship program. These programs offer exceptional, state-of-the-art training that makes sure that our newest trade workers are ready to match the high level of performance that is the hallmark of our union trades. And they this through a second-to-none education and while getting paid to learn. This year marks the 63rd anniversary of Pennsylvania Apprenticeship and Training Act, as well as the 87th anniversary of the National Apprenticeship Act. To mark these milestones of American Labor, we will introduce a resolution that designates the week of June 17th through 21st of 2024 as “National Apprenticeship Week” in Pennsylvania. Please join us in recognizing and celebrating our union apprenticeship programs, and thanking these workers to the commitment they made to their own advancement and to building PA union. |
