Subject: Pretrial, Probation and Parole Supervision Week
 
In the very near future, I will be introducing a resolution recognizing July 12-18, 2015 as "Pretrial, Probation and Parole Supervision Week".

This resolution will recognize the important and necessary work done by community correction professionals. These professionals uphold the law with dignity while supervising adult and juvenile offenders in the community while also providing the necessary services, support and protection for victims of crime. They are a force for good in our communities and it is important that we recognize these individuals for their dedication to keep our communities safe.

Please join me in co-sponsoring this resolution.
