Subject: Hunger Action Month
 
In the near future, I plan to introduce a resolution recognizing the month of September as Hunger Action Month in Pennsylvania.

More than 1.82 million Pennsylvanians (including more than 550,000 children) do not always know where they will find their next meal. As co-chairman of the Legislative Hunger Caucus, I would like to bring awareness to a very important issue that many Pennsylvanians are faced with on a daily basis – hunger and food insecurity.
