Short Title:
An Act relating to insurance; establishing the Pennsylvania Insurance Commission to replace the Insurance Department; providing for the appointment of insurance commissioners to replace the Insurance Commissioner; providing for the powers and duties of the commission and the commissioners; providing for administrative law judges, the Office of Counsel, the Office of Trial Staff and the Bureau of Consumer Services; providing for the jurisdiction of the commission as to insurance matters and regulating proceedings before it; providing for certain actions by the Office of Consumer Advocate; and making repeals.
