PERRY, Scott, a Representative from Cumberland and York Counties; born, May 27, 1962 in San Diego, San Diego County, Ca.; graduated, Northern High School, 1980; B.S., business administration management, The Pennsylvania State University, 1991; M.A., strategic studies, United States Army War College, brigadier general, Pennsylvania Army National Guard (1980-present; Iraq War); general manager, Hydrotech Mechanical Services, Inc.; elected, Carroll Township Republican Committee; member, York County Executive Committee; president, Pennsylvania Young Republicans; member, Republican Club of York; member Northern York County Republican Club; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 2007, 2009 and 2011 terms; appointed, Deputy Whip (2009-2012); not a candidate for reelection to the House (2012); elected, United States Congress (2013-present); appointed, Pennsylvania Statewide Suicide Prevention Task Force (2019-present).
