EDINGER, Abraham, a Representative from Monroe and Pike Counties; born, May 28, 1818 in Northumberland County, Pa.; stove, tin and hardware merchant; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1854 term; reelected to the House for 2 subsequent terms; elected, delegate, Democratic National Convention (1856); unsuccessful campaign, treasurer, Monroe County (1859); drover; died, January 22, 1862 in Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mount Zion Cemetery, Sciota, Monroe County, Pennsylvania.
