BUTLER, Hiram Greeley, a Representative from Crawford and Warren Counties; born, February 7, 1811 in Marcellus, Onondaga County, NY; proprietor, general store; postmaster, United States Postal Service, Spring, Pa, (1849-1853); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1859 and 1860; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1861); died, December 19, 1863 in Spring, Crawford County, Pennsylvania; interred, Conneautville Cemetery, Conneautville, Crawford County, Pennsylvania.
