TAYLOR, John Calvin, a Representative from Huntingdon County; born, April 24, 1853 in Fostoria, Blair County, Pa.; attended, Milnwood Academy; farmer; miller; teacher; general store clerk; proprietor, general mercantile business; school director, Shade Gap; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1901 and 1903 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House in the 1904 General election; died, January 19, 1926 in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania; interred, Shade Gap Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Shade Gap, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania.
