Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University; executive assistant, board of commissioners, Washington County (1986-1987); district administrator, Pennsylvania Department of Revenue (1988); co-author, Coaching Youth Sports (1981); commissioner, PONY Baseball; vice president, USA Baseball; member, United States Olympic Committee (1980-1984); former president, Washington County Young Democrats; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1988; served 5 more consecutive terms; appointed, Select Committee on Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis Services in Pennsylvania (1990); appointed, Task Force on Higher Education Funding (1994); not a candidate for reelection to the House (2002); director of development, Frontier Professional Baseball League (2003-2007); co-founder, Prospect College League (2008); general manager and majority owner, Butler BlueSox (2009-2010).
