KIRK, Samuel Wesley, a Representative from Fulton County; born in Dublin Township, Fulton County, Pa., July 2, 1860; attended, Millersville State Normal School (now Millersville University of Pennsylvania); attended, Cumberland Valley State Normal School (now Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania); graduated, Dickinson College School of Law, (now Penn State Dickinson Law), 1896; farmer; teacher; lawyer; mercantile appraiser; elected, auditor, McConnellsburg; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1901 and 1903 terms; elected, solicitor, Fulton County (1908-1911); elected, District Attorney, Fulton County (1912-1924); died, October 15, 1936 in McConnellsburg, Fulton County, Pennsylvania; interred, Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, Fulton County, Pennsylvania.
