FINNEY, Hannibal H., a Representative from Crawford County; born, December 14, 1858 in Rockdale Township, Crawford County, Pa.; attended, Northwest State Normal School (now Pennsylvania Western University, Edinboro); attended, Meadville Business College; farmer; engaged in the lumbering and surveying business; engaged in the printing business; elected, clerk of courts, Crawford County (1903-1916); elected, school board, Meadville (1917); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1918 and 1920; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1922); unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1928); unsuccessful campaign, auditor, Crawford County (1935); died, October 3, 1943 in East Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan; interred, Miller Station Cemetery, Cambridge Springs, Crawford County, Pennsylvania.
