CAMPSEY, David McMillen, a Representative from Washington County; born in Claysville, Washington County, Pa., October 13, 1843; attended, Eastman’s Business College; attended, Excelsior Normal Institute; private, Company D, 45th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1863-1864, Civil War); proprietor, mercantile business (1870-1919); auditor, Donegal Township; elected, council, Claysville; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1902 and 1904; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1906); vice president and president, National Bank of Claysville; died, May 6, 1919 in Claysville, Washington County, Pennsylvania; interred, Claysville Cemetery, Claysville, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
