Cooner," United States Navy (1944-1945, World War II); life insurance agent; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1949 term and served 5 consecutive terms thereafter; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1960); probation and parole officer, Chester County (1964-1972); died, May 26, 1999 in Chesapeake City, Cecil County, Maryland; interred, St. Mark's Episcopal Church Cemetery, Honey Brook, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
