WATSON, Katharine M., a Representative from Bucks County; born, November 6, 1945 in Danville, Montour County, Pa.; graduated, Springfield High School, 1963; B.A., English, University of Pennsylvania, 1967; graduate work, secondary guidance and counseling, Villanova University, 1973-1976; English teacher, Springfield High School; owner, Coleraine Consultants, public relations; elected, Central Bucks School board (1985-1989); founder and executive director, Bucks County Highway Safety Program (1990-1996); supervisor, Warrington Township (1995-2000; vice chair, 1999-2000); director of public information and deputy administrator, Bucks County (1996-2000); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 2000; reelected to the House to serve 8 more consecutive terms; appointed, Deputy Whip (2007-2008); not a candidate for reelection to the House (2018).
