Wooton High School, 1979; B.A., government/law, Lafayette College, 1983; J.D., Dickinson School of Law (now Penn State Dickinson Law), 1986; associate attorney, Lightner Law Offices; Assistant District Attorney, Philadelphia County; deputy district attorney, Lehigh County; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 2003 term; reelected to serve 4 consecutive terms thereafter; appointed, Select Committee on Information Security (2006); appointed, Commission on Sentencing (2007-2011); resigned from House, December 30, 2011; elected, judge, Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, Lehigh County (2012-present).
