ROSS, Lewis Chris, a Representative from Chester County; born in Bryn Mawr, Montgomery County, Pa., November 3, 1951; graduated, St. Paul’s School, 1969; B.A., history, Harvard College, 1974; campaign worker, United States Senator John Heinz (1976) and Pennsylvania Governor Dick Thornburgh (1978); owner, Rox Industries, Inc.; vice president, National Crucible Co. (1975-1979); elected, board of supervisors, London Grove Township; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1994); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1996 and was reelected to serve 9 more consecutive terms; appointed, Local Government Commission (1997-2016); not a candidate for reelection to the House (2016); adjunct professor, McCourt School of Public Policy, Georgetown University (2017-present).
